Myllyski bus service from Äkäslompolo on Tuesdays from Äkäshotelli at 9:20! From Ylläsjärvi / Start at Ylläs Lake Hotel at 9:10 Traditional Myllyhiihto (”Mill Ski”) has been held in Ylläs for four decades in early winter. The program will again include a bus service to Äkäsmylly on Tuesdays, from where you can ski, for example, the Äkäskero circuit or even a shorter route directly to Peurakaltio and from there onward, for example towards Elämänluukku and Äkäslompolo. The bus picks up skiers from the following routes: Äkäslompolo–Äkäsmylly Route: Äkähotelli 9:20 – Ylläskaltio – Ylläshumina – Lomakeskus Seita – Äkäsmylly. Ylläsjärvi–Äkäsmylly Route: Ylläs Lake Hotel klo 9.10 – Otso/Pasila – Saaga – Äkäshotelli klo 9.50 – Ylläskaltio – Ylläshumina – Lomakeskus Seita – Äkäsmylly. Prices: Äkäslompolo–Äkäsmylly 13€ Ylläsjärvi–Äkäsmylly 15€ The bus returns from Äkäsmylly back to its own chartered times.
