Traditional Drum-Building Course at Loimu March 17–18, 2026 This course is a journey into hands-on craftsmanship and tradition. During the course, you will create your own shamanic drum from start to finish using traditional methods and natural materials. The course concludes with a shared ceremony where the drum is consecrated for use. The course is led by Lilja Takalo, who has over 30 years of experience in crafting shamanic drums and traditional drum-building. The course includes: Guided drum-building instruction Creation of your own drum using natural materials Drum consecration ceremony Shared evening sauna gathering – stories of the drum and drum relaxation Drum-building course price The course price depends on the size of the drum selected: €150–300 / person Choose the package that suits you best.
