A genuine, authentic sauna experience in the middle of the forests Our wilderness cabin and sauna are located by a small, clear-watered lake about 20 km North-West of Äkäslompolo. You can rent the cabin and sauna and heat them on your own or you can have one of our guides to lead you into the wilderness cabin and sauna culture. Rental times vary from one day to several overnights. A rowing boat and canoes are included in the rental. There is no electricity or running water, nor is there a proper mobile connection. A paradise, in other words! In the snow-free seasons the cabin can be reached by car (the last km is a tiny, bumpy forest road). In the winter the road is covered with snow so the only way to get to this remote location is on our guided ski or snowmobile tours.
