Tindra’s Quest is a self-guided, family-friendly treasure hunt through the winter village of Äkäslompolo. Children aged 5–10 follow simple riddles, explore snowy landmarks, and scan QR codes to reveal the next clue. Guided by Tindra, a cheerful elf, and her husky pup Nupi, families uncover pieces of a magical story before receiving a small treasure at the final stop. The route is approximately 3 km (under 2 miles) and takes about 60–90 minutes, depending on the family’s pace. Along the way, families discover local cultural highlights such as the old Tano House, the village chapel, and traditional shops, offering a playful introduction to Äkäslompolo’s history, architecture, and everyday life. The experience mixes real-world exploration with digital interaction — no app required, only a smartphone to scan QR codes.
