Give or sell unnecessary items to the next person for example in Tori.fi and Facebook group ”Viidakkokirppis Ylläs”.

Recycling bins in Ylläs collects: Cardboard/carton, plastic packaging, paper, glass and metal/cans.

Recycling centers collects electronics, dangerous waste etc. without a fee in Kolari, Kittilä, Muonio and Rovaniemi.

Hiking trails, skiing trails, hut, lean-to do not have rubbish bin. Bring all trash back to your accommodation.

Only buy good quality items and use them for whole lifetime – fix as needed. For example most clothes should easily be good for at least 10 years.
