Sauna in Ylläs Outdoor Week
Huipun Sauna – Public Sauna Sessions
The popular Huippu Sauna public sauna sessions will take place during Ylläs Outdoor Week on July 16th!
Take a dip in the warm outdoor hot tub at the top of Ylläs Fell and relax while enjoying breathtaking views. The Huippu sauna facilities, located at the upper station of the gondola lift, include a sauna with gentle steam, a heated outdoor hot tub, shower facilities, and a cozy lounge with a fireplace. Please bring your own towel, swimwear, and optionally a hat for the hot tub. Towels can be rented on site for an additional fee of 7.50€ if needed. Please note that there are no lockable lockers in the sauna facilities, and personal belongings are left at your own responsibility.
The sauna area is a licensed area, so bringing your own drinks or food is not allowed. Refreshments can be purchased at the sauna if desired. The event is weather-dependent and will take place only if the gondola lift operates. If you wish to take the gondola lift up to the sauna, you will need to purchase a separate lift ticket. Sauna guests can receive a discount on a single-ride gondola ticket by asking at the ticket office.
Registered participants will receive detailed instructions by email.
Women’s sauna at 2:00 pm and men’s sauna at 4:00 pm. Sauna time: 1.5 hours per participant. Payment is made on site by card or cash.

Kuopan tila – open yard sauna sessions
Open mixed sauna sessions at the charming yard sauna of Kuopan tila during Outdoor Week at 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm. The wood‑heated traditional sauna offers soft, gentle steam, while the nearby spring provides a refreshingly cool dip even in the height of summer. The sauna accommodates up to 6 people at a time.
The boutique and café are open daily from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, offering sweet and savoury treats, ice cream and refreshments. The sun terraces are also open for guests to enjoy.

Savottasauna daytime sauna sessions
In the middle of the day, during the market bustle, the authentic old Savottasauna invites bathers to enjoy its gentle steam. The Savottasauna is a continuously heated wood-fired sauna, located just a few steps from the beach and swimming pier. The view from the sauna terrace is breathtaking.

In the middle of the day, during the market bustle, you can experience two different types of saunas. Both saunas – the traditional one-time-heated smoke sauna and the old continuously heated Savottasauna – are side by side and just a few steps from the beach and swimming pier.

Peaceful evening sauna sessions after the fair bustle
At the Rönölä fair, evening sauna sessions begin after the fair has ended and the area has quieted down, allowing you to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of a summer evening. Now you have the opportunity to relax in the pleasant warmth of two different saunas. In addition to the smoke sauna, we will heat the adjacent authentic logging sauna, which has a vat washing facility. These traditional wood-heated saunas offer gentle and soothing steam. From the beach pier, you can take a dip in the refreshing waves of Lake Luosujärvi.
In the evening, the service includes a bath towel and a seat cover for the smoke sauna; you only need to bring a swimsuit. Also, bring sauna slippers suitable for the gravel yard. The changing rooms are in a separate logging cabin.

Evening yoga and saunas in Rönölä
With AAVA Lapland, you can wind down for the evening with gentle evening yoga and the soft heat of Rönölä’s saunas. This calming and restorative class, with its sequences and long gentle bends, prepares us for rest, releasing tension in the body. After the class, you can enjoy the gentle heat of the traditional and smoke saunas and take a dip in the refreshing waters of lake Luosujärvi. Note, please read the detailed instructions in the class description on the booking calendar.
