The concept, created with Chef Hans Välimäki, draws on classic French technique refined through Nordic ingredients. Though born within Jänkä Resort, the restaurant welcomes everyone visiting Ylläs, including locals, travelers and anyone looking to enjoy good food in a calm setting. Warm materials, open design and soft light create an atmosphere where you can sense the stillness, whether at the Chef’s Table or beside the fire. CRAFTED WITH CARE, SERVED WITH SOUL Our seasonal menu offers a journey into the flavours of Lapland. Each dish combines Nordic purity with French technique, striking a balance between elegance and simplicity. At the U-shaped Chef’s Table, guests get a front-row view of the kitchen in motion. It’s a rare experience in Ylläs, where the scent of butter, smoke and herbs fills the air. OPEN THROUGHOUT THE DAY Breakfast is served from 7:00 to 10:00 AM, lunch from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM, and dinner from 5:00 to 11:00 PM, with the kitchen closing at 10:00 PM. Between services, lighter dishes are available, and you are always welcome to stop in for coffee or a quiet moment.
